Severity indicators inside this cohort include 2,833 crash reports, 769 fire incidents, and 43 reported fatalities, all owner-submitted through NHTSA's public complaint portal.

Inside the 2018 cohort, the RAM 2500 leads the complaint count with 3,505 filings, followed by the HONDA CR-V and the FORD F-150. On the component side, the most frequently cited category for the 2018 year class is engine (10,008 complaints), ahead of electrical system and unknown or other.
