On July 13, 2025, as I was entering a small parking lot, my car suddenly accelerated on its own and crashed through a metal gate at the far end of the lot and then hit a large docked tourist boat. I had just turned right into the parking lot and was going approximately 5-6 miles per hour. I had not yet started to turn the wheel to park as the two available spaces were about midway in the lot.
