Volvo Car USA, LLC (Volvo Car) is recalling certain 2020-2021 S90, 2020-2022 S60, V60, XC60, XC90, and 2022 V90 plug-in hybrid vehicles. The high-voltage battery may experience a short circuit within the battery module when the battery is fully charged and the vehicle is parked.

I reported this issue last year when my car was just barely outside of the extended service plan agreement we had on the car. I had called the dealership with similar issues as well way before hand. I purchased a vehicle from a dealership that was aware of faulty airbags that was returned to dealership from another consumer. I discovered the issue a few months later when airbag warning light appeared and had it repaired which included steering wheel airbag, lower knee airbag and the seat belt in September. Most recently, on October 3 while driving on the freeway at about 70 MPH the TPMS alert illuminated. I checked the information screen and the display showed low pressure in all four tires. When display blanks, all HVAC functions stop including defog, also all audio including turn signal indication sound. Sometimes display and functions self recover after approximately 15-20 seconds, sometimes it does not self recover and in these cases the ignition needs to be turned off and the drivers door opened to "turn off" the vehicle systems so that they can restart. I have barely 11,000 miles on the clock and have already replaced 4 low profile tires owing to potholes in highways and other roads across the United States. I really, truly want to file this complaint. I'm not sure why Volvo included low profile tires in the size 235/40R19 on their S60 models. When I drive, I feel like a downhill skier gliding from left to right, dodging potholes... Acc

I have had all 3wheels bend 1 wheel blow apart with in 7 months of owning the car . With in 15000 miles .
