TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 VOLVO CROSS COUNTRY XC70. THE CONTACT WAS ATTEMPTING TO STOP WHEN A VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED SEVERE HEAD, NECK AND LOWER BACK INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVABLE AFTER THE CRASH AND TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHY THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY DURING THE CRASH.
