THE CONTACT EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE STEERING DRAG LINK HAD SEPARATED FROM THE FRONT AXLE. THE CONTACT DID NOT NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCES IN THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 479,522.
