The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the contact started the vehicle with the key fob. The contact stated there was an electrical burning wiring odor before the rear window shattered. The dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under an unknown recall. No additional assistance was provided. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was 41,000.
