The contact owns a 2020 Western Star 5700. The contact stated that while driving approximately 75 MPH, the anti-collision system erroneously activated causing the commercial truck to abruptly stop while driving on the freeway. During the failure, there were no other vehicles or objects nearby to cause the system to be activated. The contact indicated that the failure had occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who realigned the sensors however, the failure recurred. No further information was available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000.
