THIS IS A REPORT ON A AVON REAR MOTORCYLE TIRE, MODEL AM26 ROADRIDER, SIZE 120/90V17. TIRE WAS PURCHASED AND INSTALLED ON A 1981 SUZUKI GS 650G MOTORCYCLE IN AUGUST 2008 AND DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 500 MILES OVER NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE GOING INTO STORAGE FOR WINTER. IN MARCH I HAD RETURNED MOTORCYCLE TO SERVICE AND NOTICED THAT REAR TIRE HAD DEVELOPED CRACKS NEAR RIM. UPON THIS DISCOVERY, I CONTACTED COMPANY THAT I HAD PURCHASE TIRE FROM AND THEY SENT ME A REPLACEMENT. I HAVE REPLACED TIRE AND WILL SEND TIRE BACK TO SUPPLIER FOR FULL REFUND. NO ACCIDENT OCCURRED, I JUST REALIZED THAT IT MAY NOT BE SAFE TO CONTINUE USING CRACKED TIRE. *TR
