THE 1998 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER PASSENGER VAN WAS INVOLVED IN A TWO VEHICLE COLLISION ON A PUBLIC HIGHWAY. CAUSE OF THE COLLISION WAS DUE TO THE OTHER INVOLVED VEHICLE, THAT BEING A 2011 KIA SOUL, FAILING TO STAY WITHIN ITS TRAVEL LANE. THE KIA CROSSED OVER INTO THE PATH OF THE PLYMOUTH VOYAGER, WITH BOTH VEHICLES COLLIDING, FRONT/LEFT VS FRONT/LEFT. SPEEDS OF BOTH VEHICLES ESTIMATED AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MILES PER HOUR. THE ABS ACTIVATED AND THE VEHICLE SLID INTO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE STOPPED AT THE LIGHT. THE CONTACT WAS WEARING A SEAT BELT; SUSTAINED NO INJURIES AND THE POLICE TOOK A REPORT AT THE SCENE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE CONSUMER HEARD A NOISE AND TRIED TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. THE CONSUMER HIT THE GUARD RAIL TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP AND THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT. THE DIFFERENTIAL CRACKED AND BROKE THE AXLE WHICH WENT INTO THE TRANSMISSION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP. *AK AFTER THE TRANSMISSION WAS REMEDIED, 4 DAYS LATER, THE SEALS LEAKED. *SC *JB
