TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER. WHILE CLOSING THE LIFT GATE, THE LIFT BAR FAILED AND SHATTERED THE REAR WINDOW. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED CUTS AND BRUISES ON HIS HANDS. THE INSURANCE INSPECTOR STATED THAT THE CAUSE WAS DUE TO A MECHANICAL FAILURE. RECALL # 99V213000 (STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE:HINGE AND ATTACHMENTS) WAS FOUND. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 114,000.

1994 VOYAGER TIRE BLEW OUT. *TS THE CONSUMER LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND STRUCK A CONSTRUCTION SIGN. THE VEHICLE SUSTAIN DAMAGE TO ITS HOOD, PASSENGER DOOR, ROOF, RIGHT FRONT TIRE AND RIGHT REAR TIRE. *NM
DEAR SIR/MADAM: SAFETY ISSUE: MY PLYMOUTH VAN CAUGHT FIRE SOMEWHERE IN THE LOWER DASHBOARD ON DRIVER SIDE. WE HAD JUST DRIVEN THE CAR AND PARKED IT, WHEN MINUTES LATER THE HORN SOUNDED AND WE SAY SMOKE AND FLAMES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED. THE CAR DOORS LOCKED THEMSELVES, ONE FRONT LIGHT WENT ON, REAR TAIL LIGHT WAS ON DURING FIRE. FORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS IN THE VAN. WHY DID THE FIRE START AND WHY DID THE VAN DOORS LOCK. THIS IS A REAL SAFETY ISSUE. PLEASE SEND A REPLY AS TO WHAT YOU PLAN

PLEASE BE INFORMED OF A POTENTIAL AUTO FIRE DEFECT ON A 1994 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER VAN WITH A 3.3 ENGINE.. CAUSE: \TUSE OF A METAL CABLE RESTRAINT CLEAT THAT HOLDS THE HIGH AMPERAGE BATTERY CABLE HARNES, NEXT TO THE ALTERNATOR. CLEAT IS LOCATED BEFORE THE MAIN BATTERY FUSE LINK, CONDITION AGRIVATED WITH THERMAL WARMING, LOCATED ABOVE THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. CLEAT CUTS INTO THE HIGH AMPERAGE CABLE AND IGNITES A FIRE IN THE CABLE HARNES. BURNING HARNES IS LOCATED DIRECTLY BELOW A FLEXABLE FUEL LINE. IT

VEHICLE EXPERIENCED AN UNDER HOOD FIRE.*MR THE CONSUMER NOTICED SMOKE WHILE DRIVING. SHE PULLED OVER AND AT THAT TIME THE SMOKE WAS CLEAR. SHE NOTICED THE SMOKE TURNED BLACK AND EXITED THE VEHICLE. WHEN SHE LOOKED UNDER THE VEHICLE, THERE WERE LITTLE FLAMES. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. *PH *JB
IN SEPTEMBER 2000 THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL OF OUR 1994 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER LX SEPERATED FROM THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. NEITHER THE REPAIR FACILITY NOR THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER COULD EXPLAIN WHAT CAUSED THE WHEEL TO SEPERATE. I RECENTLY FOUND SOME RECALL INFORMATION ON THE PLYMOUTH VOYAGER THAT MATCHES THE ABOVE INCIDENT (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID #93V098000). COULD THIS DEFECT UNDER THE RECALL BE APPLIED TO OTHER PLYMOUTH VOYAGERS?

I HAVE EXPERIANCE MANY PROBLEMS OF STALLING WHEN SLOWING DOWN,NO PROBLEM IN RESTARTING AND IT MAY GO FOR SEVERAL DAYS NO PROBLEMS THEN IT MAY STALL AGAIN WITHOUT WORNING.CAN BE DANGEROUS ON FREEWAYS.DEALER CAN NOT FIND CAUSE.HAVE TAKEN IT TO 3 DIFFERENT DEALERS,NO LUCK.WHAT IS THE FIX!!!
