WE WERE DRIVING BACK FROM A NY WEDDING ON 8/18/98 IN OUR 86 VOYAGER WITH 5 PEOPLE WHEN THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR TIRE TREAD SEPARATED AND WRAPPED ITSELF AROUND THE AXEL. I WAS IN THE PASSING LANE AT 65 MPH. I MANAGED TO AVOID LOOSING CONTROL AND GETTING OVER TO THE SIDE. I HAVE RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING TO SHOW THE TIRES WERE WELL MANITAINED AT THE FIRESTONE DEALERSHIP WHERE I SERVICE MY CAR AND AT THE FIRESTONE DEALERSHIP IN LAWRENCEVILLE NJ THAT TOOK THE DAMAGED TIRE AND REPLACE IT. WE JUST WANT PEOPLE TO NO THAT THE TIRE RECALL OF CERTAIN TIRES AND VEHECLES IS RATHER NARROR BECASUE THERE ARE A LOT OF NEAR MISSED LIKE OUR SITUATION. *AK (TIRESIZE: 20570R14)( DOT NUMBER: TIRE SIZE: 20570R14 )

BATTERU EXLOSED, RESULTING IN BURNING THE VEHICLE UP.
ADJUSTING BOLTS ON DRIVERS SIDE SEAT BROKE TWICE WITHOUT WARNING. CONSUMER FIXED PROBLEM, BUT PROBLEM RETURNED. DEALERS INSPECTED VEHICLE EACH TIME THE TRACK BROKE TO GET PROPER PART NUMBER. HOWEVER, EACH TIME PRICE WAS $77 FOR ONE TRACK.
DRIVER'S SEAT HAS COMPLETELY FAILED, REQUIRING NEW SEAT FRAMES.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY, VEHICLE SEEMED TO BE RUNNING ROUGH, CAME TO A STOP LIGHT AND NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE HOOD, JUMPED OUT AND VEHICLE BURST INTO FLAMES. FIREMAN THINKS IT'S ELECTRICAL. *AK
