TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 NISSAN LONG BED (NA). WHILE AT AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR REPAIRS, THE MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE SUBFRAME ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WAS CORRODED. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE REPAIRED DUE TO THE EXTENT OF THE CORROSION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,000.

GAS TANK HAS RUSTED THOU AT THE TOP & NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE SPEEDOMETER/ODOMETER FAILED AT 32103 MILES AND NEEDED AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR. IT NEEDED THIS REPAIR AT THE MOMENT IT LEFT THE DEALER REPAIR SHOP WHEN THE BRAKES WERE BEING REPAIRED FOR THE SECOND TIME, (WORKED GOING IN NOTICED THAT SPEEDOMETER STOPPED UPON LEAVING). DEALER SAID IT WAS JUST A COINCIDENCE! THIS VEHICLE HAD/HAS HAD SINCE THE BEGINNING 1997 - PRESENT 2014 THE BEST OF TL-CARE. AND ALL ARE FINE AND I WONDER I FOUND A LIKE A CONTROL ARM A BAR COME WITH 2 BOLT AND NUT AND THERE SOMETHINGS LIKE NO BUSHING - WASHER AND NUT BOTHSIDE LEFT DRIVER AND PASSENGER..I TRIED TO LOOK FOR REPLACE AUTOPARTS AND COULDN'T FIND IT ANYTHING..ALSO I CHECKED "RECALL" ON THE COMPUTER ABOUT COMPLAIN AND THERE NOTHINGS. I WISH I COULD SEND YOU A PHOTO THAT'S I TOOK TO MAKE SURE. THIS IS VERY BAD DANGERING FROM FRONT END SHAKEN WHILE DRIVER OVER 45- 50 ON THE CURVE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE POT HOLE AND NEVER KNOW THE CONTROL ARM BAR MIGHT COME OFF.
