Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2013-2021 NV200 Van, 2014-2017, 2019 NV200 Taxi, and 2015-2018 Chevrolet City Express vehicles. The Fuel Tank Temperature (FTT) sensor harness may have been incorrectly routed, damaging wires and causing a short circuit in the fuel pump fuse.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN NV200. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED, THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING, THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOOSELY DETACHED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE RIGHT. THE CONTACT WAS NOT ABLE TO STRAIGHTEN THE STEERING WHEEL AND CRASHED INTO A DITCH AND A FIELD. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE FAILURE DAMAGED THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE VEHICLE AND THE LICENSE PLATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED
