IT STATED THE PART IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE BUT IT ALSO STATES IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG INFLATOR AND HAD THE AIR BAG REPLACED AS A RESULT OF THIS SPECIFIC CONDITION AND HAVE PAID FOR THE REPAIR, SEND THEM PROOF OF PAYMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT CONSIDERATION. THIS MAKES ME THINK THEIR IS ANOTHER MANUFACTURE PART AVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR? I STATED THIS IN MY CONVERSATION WITH THE MITSUBISHI CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT. SHE DID NOT DENY THIS, BUT ALSO TOLD ME IF I WENT OUT AND HAD THE REPAIRED DONE NOW THEY WOULD NOT REIMBURSE ME. I THINK THIS IF ALL UNACCEPTABLE. THE NOTICE, DATED JULY 2016, SAYS THAT THE PARTS NEEDED TO CORRECT THE ISSUE ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE AND THAT I WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN THEY BECOME AVAILABLE. I SPOKE TO MITSUBISHI CUSTOMER RELATIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE A DATE WHEN THE NEEDED REPAIR PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. I ASKED WHAT THEY WOULD SUGGEST THAT I DO WITH THE RAIDER WHILE I WAITED ON THE REPLACE PARTS. THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME THAT I COULD DRIVE THE TRUCK, BUT NOT TO LET ANYONE SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGERS SEAT. I WOULD THINK THAT THREE MONTHS WOULD BE TIME ENOUGH TO OBTAIN THE PARTS, BUT I WAS WRONG. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO ESCALATE THE AVAILABILITY OF THE REPLACE PART(S) AND THE REPAIR OF MY TRUCK?
