STEERING:CRITICAL FASTENERS
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2023 Granite (GR) vehicles. The front-drive steer axle fasteners may not have been tightened sufficiently and could come loose, resulting in a complete separation of the axle assembly joints.
The Secondary fuel filter broke from the fuel filter head causing the truck to shut off while driving.
The contact owns a 2023 Mack Granite. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the secondary fuel filter detached, and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the vehicle was repaired. The fuel filter was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
