THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PIN FUNCTION WAS UNABLE TO RELEASE THE GEAR DUE TO THE TRANSMISSION NOT CHANGING. AS A RESULT, THE BRAKES SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO BE DRIVEN AND WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. AUTOS OF DALLAS (4472 W PLANO PKWY, PLANO, TX 75093, (972) 484-9200) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EXCLUDED FROM NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 04V024000 (POWER TRAIN); ALTHOUGH, THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED THE SAME FAILURE AS THE RECALL CAMPAIGN. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO INTERMITTENT ENGINE LIGHT MALFUNCTIONS *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED AT APPROXIMATELY 38,000 MILES, HE BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE WARNING LIGHT MESSAGES SUCH AS ENGINE FAULT, BRAKE FAULT AND DSC FAULT. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE DISPLAY OF THE ENGINE LIGHT, THE ENGINE LOST POWER AND THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY COASTED TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE CONSUMER STATED THE ENGINE LOOSING POWER HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. SEVERAL COMPONENTS WERE REPLACED. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM WOULD ALWAYS RETURN. *JB
