INTERIOR ROOF LINING OVER THE BACK SEAT ALL OF A SUDDEN CAME LOOSE WITHOUT WARNING, FELL DOWN AND DANGLED FROM THE ROOF AND COMPLETELY BLOCKED THE VIEW IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR OUT OF THE BACK WINDOW. THE VEHICLE OPERATION IN THIS CONDITION WAS TOTALLY UNSAFE TO OPERATE. THE DEALER WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND HAS PROVIDED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE (MAINTENANCE RECORDS PROVE THIS), REPAIRED THE PROBLEM (REGLUED THE LINING IN PLACE WITH A SPECIAL ADHESIVE) AT MY COST ($493.75), CLAIMING THE PROBLEM WAS OUT OF WARRANTY, CONTRARY TO MY CONSUMER COMPLAINT THAT JAGUAR SHOULD PAY FOR THE REPAIR OF THIS OBVIOUS LATENT DEFECT, AND IT BEING A SEVERE SAFETY ISSUE. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT STATED TO ME THAT JAGUAR CARS IN THE 1998 TO 2004 YEARS ROUTINELY HAD THIS PROBLEM (THIS DEALER REPAIRED MANY AND THEIR SERVICE RECORDS SHOULD PROVE THIS) BECAUSE OF A DESIGN DEFECT OF USING THE WRONG TYPE ADHESIVE OR GLUE THAT CONNECTED THE FELT ROOF LINING TO A FOAM PAD ON THE
