ACCELERATOR STUCK AT AN INTERSECTION WHILE MY WIFE WAS DRIVING. SHE WAS UNABLE TO MOVE THE CAR AND CALLED ME ON HER CELL PHONE. I TOLD HER TO STOMP THE PEDAL TO ROCK IT LOOSE. THIS IS S SAFETY CONCERN. IT HAPPENED BE FORE WITH ME WHILE THE CAR WAS STILL IN WARRANTY. THE DEALER FIXED IT. NOW THAT THE WARRENTY EXPIRED, THE DEALER/ MANUFACTURER SAID IT IS A MAINTENACE PROBLEM AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR. THEY ALSO SAID IT WILL HAPPEN EVERY 10,000 MILES. THE PROBLEM, THEY SAID IS CAUSED BY A CARBON BUID UP AND OCCURS IN ALL AUTOMOBILES. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IT IS A DEFECT THAT MUST BE CORRECTED.*AK
