Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2021-2022 F-Type, 2020-2021 F-Pace, and 2021 XF vehicles. The seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly.

DRIVER AIR BAG-BAD FUCTION - Unit has the Air Bag light alert on. Was claim the guarantee and the dealer is unable to repair the component. As the diagnostic report as follow: Historic DTC B0021-13 LEFT CURTAIN DEPLOYMENT CONTROL 1- CIRCUIT OPEN, at the moment of inspection vehicle did not have airbag MIL on. Historic fault code for side curtain airbag connector loose or disconnected. Upon further inspection of connector was not loose and lock was engaged. Soon after inspection airbag MIL present DTC B0021-13 LEFT CURTAIN DEPLOYMENT CONTROL 1-CIRCUIT OPEN, Disconnect the left side air curtain connector and apply light pressure to the connector plunger. If the plunger moves to the engaged position the connector is damaged, plunger does move in engaged position causing intermittent fault. Requires replacement of roof wiring harness. Currently the dealer under name F40, LLC/ United Collection Auto Group, authorized dealer of Land Rover and Jaguar banding in Puerto Rico, is unable fix

The dealer was contacted and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
