Component-level analysis is where model-year complaints become actionable: the top complaint category for the 2019 E-PACE is unknown or other with 4 filings, followed by engine (2) and electrical system (2). Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability.
NHTSA currently has 2 investigation files overlapping the 2019 E-PACE. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. Description of Incident: While driving on the highway, my 2019 Jaguar E-PACE suddenly and without warning lost power, putting myself and others at serious risk. The vehicle went into limp mode with no prior indication of any issues. Once the failure occurred, a warning message appeared on the dashboard stating âGearbox Fault,â and the transmission temperature began to rise rapidly. This failure occurred during active highway travel, with no safe shoulder or emergency lane available due to nearby construction. I was nearly rear-ended as I attempted to safely navigate off the road. This incident could have resulted in a serious accident. The issue has been confirmed and reproduced by a certified Jaguar dealership, which has inspected the vehicle and verified the problem. The vehicle displayed no warning lamps or messages prior to the failure. The safety risk this defect poses is extremely concerning, and I am requesting a full investigation into this matter. MY DAUGHTER DRIVES THIS CAR, SHE IS EXPERIENCING AN ABRUPT LOUD SCREECHING SOUND INSIDE THE CAB WHICH CAUSES HER TO TO LOSE FOCUS ON THE ROAD, WHICH IS VERY CONCERNING. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT CAN'T IDENTIFY THE ISSUE AND DOESN'T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. HAS ANYONE ELSE COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS BEFORE? IT HAPPENED ON THE HIGHWAY WHILE DRIVING.

AT RANDOM INTERVALS, THE ENGINE FAN GO INTO A 'ROAR' AT 100% RPM AND NOT STOP UNTIL THE CAR IS SHUT OFF. THIS OCCURS REGARDLESS OF THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE (SUMMER AT 90F, WINTER AT 30F AKA JUST NOW). THE FAN NOISE IS NOT PROPORTIONAL TO THE ENGINE RPM AND REMAINS CONSTANT ONCE IT STARTS. THE CAR CAN BE SHUT OFF COMPLETELY AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED AND THE FAN WILL BE RESET AND SILENT, SOMETIMES FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. THE JET-ENGINE SOUND FROM THE FAN IS NOT FIXED BY TURNING THE CAR OFF AND ON, JUST RESET TO THE NEXT DAILY OCCURRENCE. OUR 9 MONTH OLD E-PACE WILL DO THIS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY IF NOT MORE.
