TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2000 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED BROKEN RIBS AND A HEAD INJURY THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,000.

THREE WINDOW REGULATORS ON MY 2000 HYUNDAI ELANTRA ARE NOT WORKING AND I AM UNABLE TO ROLL THEM UP AND DOWN. THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW SLIDES DOWN WHEN I AM DRIVING. APPROXIMATELY A YEAR AGO. I HAD THE DRIVERS SIDE REGULATOR REPLACED AND IT'S BROKE AGAIN. THEY DON'T SEEM TO LAST. IN ORDER FOR ME TO PUT THE WINDOWS UP I HAVE TO HOLD THE SWITCH AND THE WINDOW. I HAVE HURT MY HANDS COUNTLESS TIMES ALREADY..IT HURTS ALOT!! PLEASE HELP ME CONCERNING THE WINDOW REGULATORS ON THESE CARS.
