DT: THE CONTACT STATED THE STRUTS THAT HOLD THE HOOD UP FAILED. THE FIRST TIME IT HIT THE CONTACT IN THE HEAD AND HE BECAME UNCONSCIOUS FOR APPROXIMATELY THIRTY MINUTES. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED , AND IT HAPPENED A SECOND TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS AGAIN REPAIRED. ALSO, THE TRUNK SPRINGS FAILED. THEY WERE REPLACED. THERE HAVE BEEN NO FURTHER OCCURRENCES. *AK

WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THAT VEHICLE WAS ON FIRE. THE CONSUMER SMELLED FUEL, AND NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE CONSUMER PULLED OVER, AND NOTICED THAT FLUID WAS LEAKING FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE FUEL RAIL O-RINGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK *SC

CONSUMER WAS APROACHING A RED LIGHT AND THERE WAS A VEHICLE IN FRONT. CONSUMER ATTEMPTED TO SLOW DOWN, BUT BRAKES FAILED TO STOP VEHICLE AND REAR ENDED VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HIM. UPON IMPACT AIR BAGS ON DRIVERS SIDE AND PASSENGERS SIDE DID NOT DEPLOY. CAR WAS TOTALLED. *AK

VEHICLE WAS HIT ON THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE AT ABOUT 30MPH AND OWNERS VEHICLE WAS KNOCKED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. NEITHER DRIVER'S SIDE NOR PASSENGER'S SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. *AK
