I was driving on the interstate at around 65mph. Towing my fifth wheel. Transmission started shifting hard with a loud bang that sounded like we hit a huge pothole. I keep getting a chunking noise coming from the rear of vehicle. Twice I have taking in to the dealer and I was told this condition may be caused by movement between the anchor plate and axle assembly. They have re-torqueing the joints of the leaf springs assembly. it coming loose. It has happened after 4,000 miles. This tells me that it can come loose while I am driving!
