I never was contacted by GM that a recall was made for my truck, by email or mail. The last two extended warranty 111k miles or May 7, 2029) repairs made by the dealer, the repair paperwork order states a “ Recall” exists but the dealer elects not to perform the repairs @ 44k miles. Recall: Perform Factory Recall 212349710 ECM Fastners missing or loose. I’ve searched cannot find this recall or any recalls.

The braking system is very weak given the towing and load rating on the truck. Emergency stopping is at times questionable. It seems there is almost no braking from the front axle of the truck. In 80000 miles the front brakes are still over 75% pad left with the rear brakes now being on the second set. I recieved a recall notice for this vehicle. When I went to my local dealership {Michael Hohl GMC Carson City Nevada} I was told that I would be better off to wait until my transmission fails because the repair parts are almost non existant. I am now reluctant to drive my $90,000 truck because of an inevitable rear wheel lockup situation.

Pulled in drive way and tailgate open light came on and noises was coming from rear or truck. I have a bed cover so I could not see tailgate but it was beeping, going up and down on it own.
