TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND CAUSED A CRASH. THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE STRUCK THE BUMPER OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.

MY NEW SS WAS MODIFIED WITH HAND CONTROLS. I WAS GOING INTO A TURN AT 50MPH AND MY KNEE GOT CAUGHT BEHIND THE HAND CONTROLS NOT ALLOWING ME TO PUSH MY BRAKES IN GOING AROUND A TURN. I HIT THE CURB TAKING OUT TWO TREES THEN HITTING A THIRD TREE TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. THE FRONT END OF MY CAR IS NOW GONE WITH THE RADIATOR PUSHED INTO THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE IS TOTALED AND NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AT ALL. NOT EXACTLY SURE WHEN THE ENGINE CUT OFF BUT WHEN I CAME TO A STOP IT WAS NO LONGER RUNNI
