ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Cadillac XT5 and 2024-2025 Cadillac XT6 vehicles. The instrument panel may not illuminate when the hazard warning lights, high beams, or turn signals are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023 GMC Acadia and 2024 Cadilac XT5 and XT6 vehicles. The windshield may have been assembled without the proper urethane sealant required to bond the windshield to the vehicle body.

After driving for couple of hours Car Jump like a horse while driving and slow moving since purchased.

am experiencing multiple issues with my 2024 Cadillac XT6 that affect drivability and potentially safety: 1.Intermittent Transmission Shift Jerk •The vehicle occasionally exhibits a sudden “jerk” or abrupt shift while accelerating, mostly in 2nd–3rd or 3rd–4th gear. •The issue is intermittent and cannot be consistently reproduced during dealer visits. •The dealer has performed two transmission fluid flushes within one month, but the problem continues. •No diagnostic trouble codes are stored, making it difficult for the dealer to duplicate, but the jerks are noticeable and concerning while driving. 2.Startup and Engine/Transmission Noise •Upon starting the vehicle, I hear unusual noises described as [whining •Noise is also sometimes heard during idle or even briefly after the vehicle is turned off. •These noises occur intermittently, sometimes during cold start or light driving, and may indicate an underlying transmission, engine, or accessory issue.

Transmission suddered. Took to the dealer and they said that there are parts in the transmission that need to be replaced. They recommended not driving the vehicle because there could be complete faliure of the transmission causing the car not to move. They said that parts are on backorder and did not give a timeline of when the parts would be available. They said they did not have a vehicle to drive while we wait.

brakes locking up when backing out of parking spot numerus times, took 20 minutes to back out my 10-foot driveway backup camera saw something that wasnt there brakes keep locking up HARD every foot or so seat kept vibrating front camera was very erratic before this warning of thing that were not there Venice cadillac's service dept answer turn this off in options WOW asked for a fix "there are none just turn it off" my question why is my $75,000 car without a very much needed option that also was a selling point no answer just turn it off

While driving the dashboard screen goes blank including the radio. If using adaptive cruise control it also shuts off. After five or six minutes the cadillac symbol will appear on the radio screen and the dashboard screen will begin to sign back on. You must reset the cruise control. Everything on the dash is black including the speedometer and gages. This has occurred numerous times and the dealer informed me that there is no recall and no solution to the problem. My son has a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe with the same problem. The first time it happened was on an isolated road at 10:30 PM. I pulled over, not understanding what was occurring. I consider this dangerous not know what’s going on how long if will last

The vehicle lost power while driving and could not accelerate. Fortunately, it was on a residential street and not a highway or busy road.

The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac XT6. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument panel stopped functioning, failing to display pertinent vehicle safety information. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the instrument panel required a software update. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who then diagnosed a failure with the instrument panel. The contact was informed that the instrument panel needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V459000 (Electrical System); the VIN was included, but the remedy was ineffective. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 1,200.

The contact stated that the steering wheel had seized, and the instrument panel failed to function as needed. In addition, the contact had received a service alert via the Cadillac App that the ABS had failed. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where a system update was performed. The vehicle was repaired temporarily, and the check engine warning light illuminated again. The vehicle was taken to another local dealer where a system update was performed at Cadillac of Naperville (1507 W Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL 60540). The contact stated that the parts to complete the recall associated with the vehicle were not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac XT6. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission malfunctioned, and the vehicle failed to properly accelerate. Also, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission erroneously switched from the automatic mode to the manual mode and the vehicle would not remain in the proper gear. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 114.

Rear camera stopped working. Normally when car was put in Reverse the rearview camera would show you what is behing your car. This camera stopped working in this car. When in reverse a red triangke pops uo indicating some type of malfunction and a red circle with a camera inside with a line going across indicatimg there in no camera. It was working the day before fine and it just stopped working the next day. There is no physical damage to camera or car in general.
