General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Cadillac CT6, 2020-2021 CT4, CT5, and 2020-2022 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles equipped with a 10-speed transmission. The transmission may become damaged internally and cause the wheels to lock-up.
Recent Complaints
The vehicle was shifting harshly and my wheels were experiencing lock up while in motion which was very dangerous. I experienced this on the parkway as well as streets and almost had a few accidents due to this problem. I drive my wife and children in this vehicle. Our safety and lives were put at risk. There were no warning lamps to advise of troubles. I also have some computer problems that are supposed to be addressed. Gm dealer has had my car for four months and have tried to replace valve f

The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the transmission seized, and the vehicle was coasted over to the right side of the roadway while waiting for tow service. A dealer as contacted. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with transmission failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer informed the contact that the vehicle was out of warranty.
