THE VEHICLE ENGINE OVERHEATS FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP HAS WORKED ON THIS VEHICLE ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND EACH TIME I HAVE BEEN ASSURED THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CORRECTED. THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP HAS REPLACED THE RADIATOR, SEVERAL COOLANT HOSES AND CLAMPS, TIGHTENED CLAMPS AND REPLACED SEVERAL "CROSS OVER PIPE" SEALS. THE OPERATION OF THE WATER PUMP AND THERMOSTAT HAVE BEEN CHECKED. A LOCAL GARAGE SUBSEQUENTLY REPLACED THE COOLANT OVERFLOW TANK AND SEVERAL COOLANT HOSES. THE VEHICLE STILL OVERHEATS ON A REGULAR BASIS, AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 300 MILES OR LESS. THIS OCCURS REGARDLESS OF DRIVING CONDITIONS, UP HILL OR DOWN, COLD OR HOT WEATHER, SHORT COMMUTES OR 200 MILE TRIPS. THIS CONSTANT OVERHEATING PRESENTS A HAZARD FOR VEHICLE OPERATORS DUE TO THE DANGER OF HEAT AND CONSEQUENT PRESSURE BUILD-UP IN THE COOLING SYSTEM. AT SOME POINT, IT IS LIKELY THAT STEAM PRESSURE FROM THE HEATER CORE WILL CAUSE THE HEATER CORE TO EXPLODE AND INJURE PASSENGERS INSIDE THE

MY CADILLAC CATERIA IS CURRENTLY IN THE REPAIR SHOP AT CAVENDER CADILLAC IN SAN ANTONIO DUE TO ENGINE FAILURE. I'VE HAD TO TAKE MY CAR IN THE THE LOCAL CADILLAC DEALER APPROXIMATELY EVERY TWO MONTHS SINCE I PURCHASED THE CATERIA TO HAVE PROBLEMS SERVICED. PROBLEMS RANGE FROM STEERING AND ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS TO THE RECENT SERIOUS PROBLEMS OF ENGINE FAILURE. MY CATERIA'S MILEAGE IS APPROXIMATELY 51000. THE ENGINE SHOULD NOT BE FAILING. THE CAR HAS PLACED ME IN DANGEROUS SITUATIONS WHEN THE ENGINE STOPPED RUNNING IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. MAINTENANCE HISTORY OF THE CAR SHOWS IT'S TIME FOR THE CADILLAC DEALER TO REPLACE MY CATERIA WITH A NEW ONE BEFORE ME OR MY FAMILY MEMBERS ARE SERIOUSLY INJURED ON THE HIGHWAY.*AK
