Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. SEAT BELT ON DRIVERS SIDE DOES NOT SOUND ANY TYPE OF WARNING THAT SEAT BELT IS NOT ON UNTIL I AM SOMETIMES 5 MILES OR 2 MILES OR JUST 3 BLOCKS AWAY BEFORE ANY SOUND COMES ON TO LET ME KNOW I DO NOT HAVE SEAT BELT ON. ITS A EXTREMELY LIGHT SOUND WHEREAS THE PASSENGER SIDE STARTS MAKING LOUD BEEPING SOUND IF NO SEAT BELT IS PUT ON BEFORE I EVEN GET OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY. THE DRIVERS SIDE DOES SHOW AT SOME POINT ON INSTRUMENT PANEL THE SMALL RED SEAT BELT WARNING. MY OTHER CARS IMMEDIATELY MAKE NOISE BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN BACK OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY IF NO SEAT BELT IS DETECTED UNFASTENED. THE GAS TANK GAGE NEVER SENDS ANY WARNING SIGNALS THAT THE GAS IF PAST THE EMPTY MARK AS I DISCOVERED WHEN ON A 3 MILE BRIDGE AND DISCOVERED THAT MY GAS TANK WAS COMPLETELY ON EMPTY WHEN I LOOKED AT INSTRUMENT PANEL. IT GAVE ME NO WARNING AT ALL OF THIS PROBLEM. I WAS LUCKY TO BE WITHIN A MILE OF A GAS STATION AS I WAS GOING OFF THE BRIDGE TO ADD GAS. I TOOK CAR TO CADILLAC DEALER WHERE IT WAS PURCHAS
