While driving to the store my husband notice the vehicle began to over heat. After only driving less than 2 miles the vehicle was parked at my home, it suddenly burst into flames from the engine an hour later. Gratefully, no one was in the vehicle during the incident. We are a family of 5 so that would have been a disgrace. The vehicle was inspected by BMW who claim they can not find cause and deny responsibility. It is unfortunate, our insurance canceled for non-payment a short time before this. Therefore, we have no resource to make us whole again. The vehicle is being temporarily held at BMW of Coconut Creek as this is where it was purchased. Meanwhile, my husband continues to make payments to BMW Finance to protect his credit. Research has shown over hundreds of thousands of like make and models BMW x 6 have been recalled for the same incident from 2012 - 2018 and I can' t help but believe the 2019 should be placed on recall as well before someone is hurt. The exhaust pipes on my BMW X6 caused a severe burn to lower leg after I inadvertently touched the pipe when removing groceries from the rear hatch. The tip of the exhaust pipes extends out from the rear bumper approximately 1 inch. The exhaust pipes are located on both the right and left rear side of the vehicle. It appears as if the exhaust pipes are under the bumper when youâre standing over the pipes. No warning lights were visible on the dashboard indicating the exhaust pipes were hot. At this time itâs unknown if this vehicle has been inspected by BMW Inc. for exhaust burns.

I was in an accident on the interstate 195 in New Bedford, MA. My car was pushed into the guardrail on the driver's side. The air bag in the the side of my seat deployed and ruptured releasing hot gases and burned me through my clothes. I received 1st and 2nd degree burns and was treated at a local hospital. The area that ruptured looked like it was where a patch and been sewn into the air bag. The car may be totaled and has not yet been inspected.
