BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2022-2023 S 1000R and 2020-2023 S 1000XR motorcycles. During a software update performed at a dealership, the "Dynamic Pro" riding mode feature "front wheel lift-off assistant" may have been inadvertently deactivated without alerting the rider.
Loss of âEâ clips on retaining pins for passenger pegs, retaining pins vibrate out of holes causing loss of passenger pegs while riding. Potentially causing serious road debris and loss of passengers footing could cause accident or serious bodily injuries to self or others Cause is normal riding.
