TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 BMW R1200 GS ADVENTURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING THE MOTORCYCLE AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE MOTORCYCLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ALERTED BY THE MESSAGE DISPLAY OF A FAULT IN THE ENGINE CONTROL, AND TO RIDE CAREFULLY TO WORK SHOP. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER SUN AND FUN MOTORSPORTS LOCATED AT 155 ESCORT LANE SW, IOWA CITY, IA 52240, (319)338-1077 TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE CONTROL SOFTWARE UPDATE WAS PERFORMED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE SOFTWARE UPDATE WAS PERFORMED ON 5 SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURES ENGINEER WAS CONTACTED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE LATEST UPDATE WOULD REMEDY THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 750.
