THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BMW MOTORCYCLES OF WESTERN OREGON (12010 SW GARDEN PL, TIGARD, OR 97223, (503) 597-7097) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO FAILURES AND THE VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THE OIL WAS CHANGED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO FAILURES. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 860.
