THIS VEHICLE WHEN LOCKED FROM THE OUTSIDE LOCKS OCCUPANTS INSIDE WITH NO WAY TO ESCAPE. THIS HAPPENED TO MY FAMILY AND WE WERE SAVED BY A PASSERBY WHO HEARD US YELLING AND WENT TO FETCH THE DRIVER WHO HAD STEPPED AWAY FROM THE CAR LOCKING IT ACCIDENTALLY. WE NEARLY SUFFOCATED. CARS MSUT BE EQUIPPED WITH A FAILSAFE WAY TO OPEN A DOOR OR WINDOW, EVEN WITH NO POWER. THIS PROBLEM IS JUST LIKE THE FREEZER CHEST LATCHES THAN HAVE NOW BEEN OUTLAWED. MY FAMILY COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED BY THIS DEFECT.
