THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT THE DEALER FOR ROUTINE SERVICE, THE DEALER NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP WAS LEAKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN I.D. NUMBER 10V446000 AND CALLED THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT REMEDY THE VEHICLE AND ADVISED HIM TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

THE MALFUNCTION OCCURRED WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS IN OPERATION. THERE WAS A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 12V502000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM , POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000.
