TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 BMW 220I (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF STEERING ABILITY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP MALFUNCTIONED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
