Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. MY VEHICLE IS LISTED AS HAVING THE DEFECTIVE TANAKA AIRBAGS. BMW HAS REPLACED THEM WITH OTHER TANAKA AIRBAGS WHICH NOW HAVE TO BE REPLACED. I HAVE ASKED THE LOCAL BMW DEALER TO INSTALL THE SWEDISH AIRBAGS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE AND FIT MY VEHICLE, BUT THEY CLAIM BMW HEADQUARTERS WILL NOT AGREE TO HAVE THEM DO THIS. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH LETHAL EQUIPMENT FOR MONTHS BECAUSE I HAVE NO OTHER CAR TO USE, AND IT IS VERY DANGEROUS, NOT ONLY FOR ME BUT FOR OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROADS. IS IT NOT YOUR DUTY, YOUR WORK, TO FORCE THIS MANUFACTURER TO IMMEDIATELY PUT SAFE EQUIPMENT IN MY CAR?
