Complaint Description
I leased a 2023 Hyundai Tucson AWD, and approximately four months after leasing, I began experiencing vibration and shaking when braking, especially at higher speeds and downhill. I brought the issue to a dealership, and while replacing the brake pads temporarily resolved the problem, I am concerned it will return, as many other Tucson owners have reported similar recurring issues even after rotor or pad replacement. This raises concerns about a potential underlying defect in the braking system that may not have been properly addressed. The issue poses a serious safety risk due to reduced control during braking, and I am documenting this in case it recurs. No warning lights appeared, but the problem was physically noticeable and confirmed by the service center. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.
