Complaint Description
The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact lives in a cold weather State, and each winter the driverâs side door latch would freeze and be difficult to operate as needed. The contact stated that a dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not taken the dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 97,450.
