Complaint Description
The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at approximately 40 MPH the "air bag" warning light illuminated and the horn became inoperable. The contact stated that the failure occurred at various speeds. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. The contact was aware of an Extended Warranty for the clockspring. The contact had driven the vehicle to a local dealer however, the dealer was unable to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes associated with the clockspring, and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 115,000.
