The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that an unknown letter was sent to vehicle owners regarding the failure; however, the contact had not received the letter. The dealer informed the contact that the dashboard needed to be replaced and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
