GENTLEMEN: IN MAY OF THIS YEAR I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER CONCERNING BRAKE ISSUES ON MY 2003 TIFFIN ALLEGRO MOTORHOME (VEHICLE ID #[XXX] ) WITH THE WORKHOUSE CHASSIS. THE ORIGINAL RECALL OF JULY 2004 DIDN'T COVER MY CHASSIS. ON 05/03/06 THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS LOCKED UP AND I HAD TO HAVE A COMPLETE BRAKE JOB DONE ON THE MOTORHOME WHICH ONLY HAD 5,318 MILES ON IT. IN SEPTEMBER OF THIS YEAR I WAS ON VACATION IN COLORADO WHEN THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED. I HAD TO CANCEL MY VACATION AND DRIVE BACK TO SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA USING MOSTLY THE TRANSMISSION TO BRAKE THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE NOW HAS 13,575 MILES. I HAVE 2 FRIENDS THAT HAVE THE SAME CHASSIS AS MINE AND ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. THIS BRAKE PROBLEM HAS BEEN DRAGGING ON FOR OVER 5 YEARS AND WORKHORSE IS NOT FIXING IT. MY MOTORHOME IS UNUSABLE BECAUSE OF THIS AND IS SITTING IN MY YARD DEPRECIATING AND IS UNABLE TO BE SOLD IN THIS CONDITION. I AM SURE THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CLAIMS WITH THIS PROBLEM. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED
Mileage: 5,318
