I WAS DRIVING MY TOYOTA MOTORHOME WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN I HEARD A WOBBLE SOUND. I THOUGH I NEEDED A TIRE ALIGNMENT, AS MY FRONT TIRE WAS SLIGHTLY BALDING, SO I PROCEEDED TO THE TIRE SHOP WHICH WAS ONLY 15 MINUTES AWAY. VERY SHORTLY THEREAFTER, GOING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH I LOST CONTROL OF MY CAR, IT LITERALLY FELT LIKE IT WAS FALLING APART ON ME ON THE HIGHWAY! PARTS WERE FLYING EVERYWHERE AS I CAME TO A SUDDEN STOP ON THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. WHAT HAD HAPPENED, IS MY BACK AXLE SNAPPED IN HALF AND HALF OF IT, WITH MY 2 DOUBLE TIRES ON THAT END, FLEW INTO THE AIR AND LANDED ONTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY! NEXT THING I KNEW, AS I STOPPED, I SAW ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY ONE GUY WAS THROWN OFF OF HIS MOTORCYCLE LAYING ON THE SHOULDER, HIS MOTORCYCLE WAS TOTALED AND 2 CARS REAR ENDED EACH OTHER. LUCKILY, NO ONE WAS KILLED!!! AND THE GUY WHO HAD THE MOTORCYCLE WALKED AWAY WITH A SORE KNEE. AFTER DOING RESEARCH THERE HAS BEEN A MAJOR RECALL ON AXLES OF TOY
