The contact stated that he had taken the vehicle to get the shocks replaced and the technician working on the vehicle refused to continue working on the vehicle due to extreme corrosion on the rear passenger’s side of the frame near the fuel tank. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where the contact was informed that the corrosion was advanced, and the dealer would not perform a repair on the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 333,000.
