I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER 2 MONTHS FOR A REMEDY--IT'S LISTED AS "INTERIM" IN TOYOTA'S SYSTEM APPARENTLY. I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER NOT TO ALLOW ANYONE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT UNTIL THE DEFECT IS FIXED. THIS IS A MAJOR DISRUPTION TO MY LIFE. I CAN'T IMAGINE WHY IT IS TAKING SO LONG TO CORRECT A DEFECT WITH SUCH SIGNIFICANT CONSEQUENCES.

THIS WAS AN OCCASIONAL OCCURRENCE SINCE VEHICLE WAS NEW, BUT NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON VISITS TO SEVERAL DEALERS. NOW IT IS A CONSTANT FLICKER WHEN CAR IS BEING DRIVEN. THE DEALER HAS JUST REPORTED THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLIES MUST BE REPLACED ON BOTH DOORS AS A COST OF 2,000.00 DOLLARS. MAKES THIS CAR TOTALLY UNSAFE TO DRIVE PARTICULARLY IN HIGHWAY DRIVING WHERE CHANGING LANES IS REQUIRED AT NIGHT. I TRULY BELIEVE THIS IS A DEFECT THAT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED CONCERNING TOYOTA MOTOR USA, AS IN MY EXPERIENCE THIS IS SAFETY EQUIPMENT ISSUE THAT IS DANGEROUS.
