MY TOYOTA FR-S 2013 HAS HAD AN EMERGENCY RECALL ON IT FOR OVER A YEAR IT SEEMS BUT WHEREVER I BRING THE CAR THEY DON'T WANT TO TOUCH IT BECAUSE I HAVE MADE AN ALTERATION TO THE CAR. I HAVE A TURBO KIT INSIDE OF THE CAR SO IT IS NOT ON THE MAIN ENGINE BUT THEY ARE SAYING THEY REFUSE TO CHANGE THE VALVE SPRINGS(THE RECALL PROBLEM) ON IT BECAUSE OF THE MODIFICATIONS. THE RESULT OF THE BAD VALVE SPRINGS CAN RESULT IN A STALL WHILE DRIVING AND CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THE CAR IS FINANCED AND FROM MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLE IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN EMERGENCY RECALLS. AND I'VE YET TO BEEN ABLE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. I'M DRIVING A UNSAFE VEHICLE THAT TOYOTA REFUSES TO FIX

AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE APPROXIMATELY TWO MONTHS AGO WE REALIZED THE AUTO LOCK/UNLOCK DOORS SECURITY FEATURE WAS NOT WORKING. WE TOOK VEHICLE TO SELLING DEALER AND WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE FEATURE WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PROGRAMMING ON THIS NEW 2017 VEHICLE MODEL. THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH TOYOTA FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY AND THE ENGINE-IMMOBILIZER SECURITY SYSTEM. AS IN OTHER TOYOTA VEHICLES WE HAVE OWNED (5) THIS FEATURE IS AVAILABLE AS THEY WERE ALSO EQUIPPED WITH FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY AND SECURITY SYSTEM. WE SEE THIS AS A BIG SECURITY RISK AND IT PUTS MY WIFE WHO DRIVES THIS VEHICLE DAILY AT RISK FOR CAR-JACKING AS THE DOORS DO NOT AUTO LOCK WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED. I HAVE EMAILED TOYOTA CUSTOMER CARE MULTIPLE TIMES ONLY TO BE TOLD THIS FEATURE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE AVAILABLE, YET ON ALL OTHER TOYOTA VEHICLES IT IS A STANDARD PROGRAMMABLE FEATURE WHEN THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY AND FACTORY SECURITY SYSTEM. WE WERE TOLD THAT TOYOTA HAS NO PLANS
