MY VEHICLE'S BRAKES FAILED RESULTING IN REAR-ENDING THE CAR IN FRONT. THIS HAPPENED ON A FREEWAY GOING STRAIGHT AT 10 AM. WE TOOK OUR CAMRY TO A BRAKE SHOP DUE TO WEAK PERFORMANCE AND LOUD SCREECHING SOUND. AFTER INSPECTION THE MECHANIC SAID THAT THE REAR BRAKE PADS WERE METAL ON METAL AND THE FRONTS WERE NOT EVEN BROKEN IN. THIS WAS MOST LIKELY AN INDICATION OF A PROBLEM WITH THE ABS SYSTEM FOR WHICH I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALER.
