STARTED ATV AND LET WARM UP. AFTER FIVE MINUTES ATV ENGINE QUIT RUNNING ON ITS OWN. TWO MINUTES AFTER IT STOPPED RUNNING CENTRAL PORTION OF ATV WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES THAT EXTENDED UP TO 10 FT HIGH AND THREATENED TO CATCH MY HOUSE ON FIRE. I RAN TO GRAB A GARDEN HOSE AND PROCEEDED TO PUT OUT THE FIRE. THE FIRE DESTROYED THE ENTIRE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE ATV INCLUDING FRONT OF SEAT, AIR INTAKE BOX, FUEL INJECTOR AND THROTTLE BODY, WIRING UNDER SEAT, BATTERY BOX, AND CONNECTIONS TO ENGINE AROUND CYLINDER AND GEAR BOX. PASTICHE IS MELTED ALL OVER FRAME AND TOP OF ENGINE. *TR
