TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 SUZUKI GSX-R750. WHILE RIDING AT 65 MPH, SMOKE APPEARED FROM THE MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT NOTICED OIL LEAKING FROM THE ENGINE ONTO THE REAR TIRE. UPON INSPECTING THE MOTORCYCLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE CONNECTING ROD PUNCHED THROUGH THE ENGINE. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE INSPECTED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER TOOK PICTURES OF THE MOTORCYCLE AND FORWARDED THEM TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,200.
