WHILE RIDING MY 2006 SUZUKI GSXR 1000 PURCHASED IN JAN. OF THIS YEAR A DOG ENTERED THE ROAD WHILE I WAS EXITING A TURN. I BROUGHT THE BIKE TO AN UPRIGHT POSITION AND APPLIED BOTH BRAKES. THE REAR OF MY BIKE WENT UP IN THE AIR TO ABOUT THE 11 O'CLOCK POSITION. I RELEASED MY FRONT BRAKES AND THE REAR CAME BACK DOWN STILL IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION BUT WHEN MY WHEEL MADE CONTACT WITH THE ROAD MY FRAME JUST UNDER THE GAS TANK BROKE IN HALF SEPARATING, SENDING ME INTO THE WOODS ALONG THE ROAD. I WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE LOCAL TRAUMA CENTER VIA EMS WHERE I HAD TO HAVE THE TIBIA IN MY RIGHT LEG REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A ROD AND I ALSO BROKE MY RIGHT SHOULDER. AT THIS TIME NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO REPAIR BIKE. *JB
